|Price was shaky again in a 4-1 loss to Pittsburgh on Wednesday, stopping 22 of 26 shots.
Analysis: Price has allowed three or more goals eight times in 10 games. He's 1-4-0 with an ugly .859 save percentage in his last five contests.
|1/18/2017||Matt Murray, Pit, G|
|After giving up 11 goals in his two previous starts, Murray righted the ship with 19 saves in a 4-1 win at Montreal on Wednesday.
Analysis: Murray entered Wednesday with a 5.58 GAA in his four previous games. Including playoffs, Murray is 39-12-2 with a 2.20 GAA in 56 career games.
|1/18/2017||Conor Sheary, Pit, LW|
|Sheary had an assist in Wednesday's win at Montreal, giving him at least one point in seven of the last nine games.
Analysis: Sheary continues to reap the benefits of playing on a line centered by Sidney Crosby. He's up to 13 goals and 29 points in 37 games this season.
|1/18/2017||Evgeni Malkin, Pit, C|
|Malkin continue his production with an assist in a win at Montreal on Wednesday.
Analysis: The star forward has nine goals and eight assists in his last 13 games. Malkin has 50 points in 44 games after he totaled 58 in 57 last season.
|1/18/2017||Logan Couture, SJ, C|
|Couture will miss Wednesday's game at Los Angeles due to illness.
Analysis: The Sharks are hopeful that their second-line center will be able to go for Thursday's home game against Tampa Bay. Melker Karlsson will be elevated into a top-six role in Couture's place.
|1/18/2017||Semyon Varlamov, Col, G|
|Varlamov will be shut down through the All-Star break as he continues to deal with a groin injury.
Analysis: Varlamov missed nearly three weeks with the injury and has struggled since coming back, allowing three goals in three consecutive losses. "This is no longer a day-to-day thing," said coach Jared Bednar. Calvin Pickard will take over as the No. 1 goaltender while Varlamov heals up.
|1/18/2017||Zach Werenski, Cls, D|
|Werenski was held out of Wednesday's practice due to an illness.
Analysis: The rookie defenseman will likely be a game-day decision for Thursday's matchup with Ottawa.
|1/18/2017||Tyson Barrie, Col, D|
|Barrie produced a pair of assists during Colorado's loss to Chicago on Tuesday.
Analysis: There aren't many Avalanche players worth holding onto for fantasy purposes, but Barrie may be one. The defenseman now has a goal and nine assists over his last 10 games.
|1/18/2017||Nathan MacKinnon, Col, C|
|MacKinnon had a pair of assists in the Avalanche's loss to Chicago on Tuesday.
Analysis: Colorado's All-Star Game representative has five points over his last four games after going four straight without a point. MacKinnon still hasn't produced a whole lot over the last month, having generated three goals and seven assists over a 15-game stretch in which the lowly Avs are 2-13-0.
|1/18/2017||Matt Duchene, Col, C|
|Duchene broke out of his scoring slump with a pair of goals in Tuesday's loss to Chicago.
Analysis: The two-time All-Star had gone six straight games without a goal and recorded just one goal and four assists over his previous 13 contests. The subject of recent trade rumors, Tuesday's performance should help restore any value Duchene may have lost.
|1/18/2017||Corey Crawford, Chi, G|
|Though he managed to halt a personal two-game losing streak, Crawford wasn't sharp in Tuesday's 15-save effort during the Blackhawks' 6-4 win at Colorado.
Analysis: It's the fourth straight start in which Crawford has allowed three or more goals, and he owns an unspectacular 3.09 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 10 starts since returning from an appendectomy on Dec. 23. It appears Crawford may still need a little more time to round into form.
|1/18/2017||Marian Hossa, Chi, RW|
|Hossa contributed three assists, including the 600th of his career, and finished a plus-4 in Chicago's 6-4 win at Colorado on Tuesday.
Analysis: The three assists matched Hossa's entire total over his previous nine outings. The 38-year-old has not scored during that stretch, with his last goal coming Dec. 15 at the Islanders.
|1/18/2017||John Gibson, Anh, G|
|Gibson stopped 27 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Lightning.
Analysis: Gibson has been brilliant lately, surrendering no more than two goals in seven straight starts while posting a .961 save percentage. He's been one of the league's best goaltenders over the past month, going 8-1-4 with a 1.66 GAA.
|1/18/2017||Ben Bishop, TB, G|
|Bishop turned aside 19 shots in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Analysis: Bishop has been solid in three games since coming off IR, yielding just five goals.
|1/18/2017||Vinnie Hinostroza, Chi, LW|
|Hinostroza scored twice within a three-minute span in the third period, with the last goal breaking a tie in Chicago's eventual 6-4 victory Tuesday at Colorado.
Analysis: The rookie doesn't generally provide much offense in a bottom-six role, as he entered the matchup with one goal and one assist over his previous 11 games.
|1/18/2017||Rickard Rakell, Anh, C|
|Rakell scored on the power play 54 seconds into overtime to give Anaheim a 2-1 win over the Lightning on Tuesday.
Analysis: Rakell's team-leading 19th goal was his third in four games, two of which have been game-winners.
|1/18/2017||Ryan Getzlaf, Anh, C|
|Getzlaf scored the tying goal in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Lightning.
Analysis: It was the sixth goal of the season and first at home for Getzlaf, who extended his point streak to six games. He's a plus-5 in that span.
|1/18/2017||Tanner Kero, Chi, C|
|Kero registered his first career two-goal game and added an assist in Tuesday's win at Colorado.
Analysis: This performance come out of nowhere, as Kero entered the contest with a mere two points in 11 games since being called up from the minors in late December. On the other hand, all five of the 24-year-old's points have come in his last five outings.
|1/18/2017||Valtteri Filppula, TB, C|
|Filppula scored the Lightning's only goal in Tuesday's overtime loss in Anaheim.
Analysis: It was Filppula's first goal in 16 games and his seventh of the season. Filppula, though, is now riding a five-game point streak.
|1/18/2017||Jason Zucker, Min, LW|
|Zucker scored his 12th goal of the season during Tuesday's loss to New Jersey.
Analysis: The undervalued wing, who's tied for the NHL lead in plus-minus (+26), has been on a roll of late, compiling six goals and six assists over his past 12 games. Three of those goals have come in Zucker's last four contests.
